Actually, I have a review of this book in the Teen Readers binder in the classroom. If I recall correctly, this book was written before the first Harry Potter, and it seems that J.K. Rowling borrowed some ideas from Ibbotson.

That may be true, but J.K. Rowling had it all written in her head long before this book had even been thought of. This is what I choose to believe as a biased person. Harry Potter and Apple Computers!
